Rusty Fly, may I suggest going to your blog options, then go to your comment preferences. In there you can turn on a feature that should eliminate the marketers from being able to post comments on your blog. Its the "show word verification for comments" option. If you click "yes" for that, it will force people to type a word that appears before they can comment. The marketers' 'bots' cant do that. :)
